How to get a useful view?

Helium scanned about 150.000 music files. How can one make it show the tracks / albums, etc. in a meaningful way (artists, track titles, album titles, etc.) instead of showing such:

Hi,

Looks like you are on a pretty small screen. You can try to close some of the panels first (e.g. Quick Editor, Now Playing). You can also collapse the navigation bar on the left so it only shows the icons and not the labels.

Then you can try out the different views to see which suits your needs.

Many thanks, Fredrik,

Well, I wouldn't think that actually, it is a Notebook screen like usual, 15,4''.

How could one show the covers along with the details?

The "Artist" column does not show anything, not a single artist? How could I change that?

How could I do it?

And what does that sign in front of the name mean:

When I click it it disappears? I would think there is a sub folder in that folder with that sign?

Many thanks again

There are several ways of doing this. You can either switch to the Release view (the disc-icon in the left menu) and try out the different display modes (the icons in the top right corner), or you can use many of the other views and toggling the display modes from there.

Do you know if your tracks contain this artist information?

Under the View > Navigation pane full width menu option.

Thank you very much!

OK. Why are there shown 0 tracks although they are available:

Sorry, cannot find a way to do so. How could I do it?

Why are there not shown any albums:

Yes, they do.

Ah, yes, those kind of labels were meant, thank you.

From what I can see on your screenshots, the adding operation does not seems to have completed successfully, thus summaries of albums and artists will not show up properly.

Did you get any error messages or such during the adding operation?

To assist you further we most likely need to do some tests with detailed logging active.

Please submit a support ticket at http://support.imploded.com refering to this forum post and we will give you further instructions.

Include information about which specific Helium version you are using as well as which database type you have active.

Not that I would remember it.

Sounds like quite some work. May be I should just leave it for the moment.

Not really, but if it skipped you will not be able to work with Helium properly.

Without the extra information we can unfortunately not help you out further.

Why is here not shown my postings each time after I have posted one? That's quite inconvenient.

Alright, many thanks anyway.

Can you please evolve that a little more?

All your posts are always showed here except for cases when files are attached and the underlying system (not developed by us) indicates that a moderator needs to approve them.

[QUOTE]Can you please evolve that a little more?[/QUOTE]
Yes, of course, after posting the post is not shown respectivel I cannot find it where I have posted it. Obviously it is shown with hesitation. Does not make any sense for me, it is very annoying.

This forum has an automatic spam filter which is sometimes a little too aggresive. We sometimes need to manually approve posts. It may be related to you using the [QUOTE] tags which isn't supported in this forum.

Thank you
