"Favorite" is not a Tag Field

"Favorite" is not a Tag Field
so if I clear DB and add Tracks Again

no track have the Favorite Sign
Please Consider changing it to one more Tag Field inside Files
Like how "Rating" is

At the moment we will not implement this. There's no standard tag for favourite available and it is also stored per-user.

If this will get upvoted by more users we will reconsider it.

In general I like the idea.
Since this would be a Helium-specific tag, tagging could be done something like this: "%username1%|%username2%|%username3%". So the tag would reflect the per-user status (only listed users will get the favorite status set).

Though there needs to be some things to be considered:
  • Every time a track is marked as (non-)favourite, the track needs to be tagged
  • Only track-favorites is reasonable, since re-tagging is necessary (maybe release-favorites could be done, but artist-tagging may result in a giant re-tagging job...)
  • When importing tracks, what happens with users in the tags, that don't exist in the database? Will they automatically imported, too?

Maybe it would be easier to get some function to export / import all favorite-states?

Yes, this will be the preferred way.

In theory everything to achieve this should already be available via the scripting API's if anyone would like to try it out.
