Changes

  • Improvements to WASAPI handling (see notes below)
  • Various bug fixes

Notes

If you have previously had problems with jumping/stuttering during playback with WASAPI, please retest with this version the following way:
1) Enable WASAPI from Options > Player
2) Set buffer size to 1500ms
3) Try if any jumps occur
4) If it does, extend the player buffer to 2000ms
5) Retest

When it seems ok, please let me know which size that worked as well as send me the most recent log that will show how big buffer the soundcard claimed.
Thanks.

I set it to 500ms and browsing through all kind of views, even searching files works without stuttering! :)

 The log file says 19200?

Great to hear that it works, thanks for the confirmation!

The returned buffersize is an internal value returned from the WASAPI engine wihch I will need to send to the developer of BASS.

Thanks for the update!

@Emil: The large value is the returned value from BassWasapi get info. Just noticed that I will need to trim the settings a bit more to the next build. :)
